List of railway lines in Croatia

This is a list of the railway lines in the Republic of Croatia . All course book routes and their parts in Croatia are listed here, including inactive course book routes and routes destroyed by the civil war . Special freight course book routes that are used exclusively for access to freight stations ( Zagreb Ranžirni kolodvor and Vinkovci Teretni Kolodvor ) are also listed.

Route classification and numbering go back to the decision of the government of Croatia on the division of the railway lines ( Odluka o razvrstavanju željezničkih pruga ) of July 12, 2006 as well as the decision of the government of Croatia on the amendment and addition to the decision on the division of the railway lines ( Odluka o izmjeni i dopuni Odluke o razvrstavanju željezničkih pruga ) from February 1, 2007.

Official designation rules

  • M - routes of international importance (main lines, long-distance railways)
  • R - routes with regional importance (regional train)
  • L - routes with local significance (local railway)

Sub-titles:

  • I - International route
  • II - routes of international importance that touch more than two countries
  • MP - Mainline
  • MG - Magistral branch line
