Mathilde-Amivi Petitjean (born February 19, 1994 in Lomé ) is a Togolese cross-country skier .

Career

Petitjean competed in junior races from 2011 to 2015. In January 2014, she won 56th place in the skiathlon and 43rd place in the sprint at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme . At the XXII. At the Olympic Winter Games from February 7 to 23, 2014 in Sochi , she made her Olympic winter game debut for the Fédération Togolaise de Sports de Glisse et de Ski (FTSGS) in 68th place over 10 km classic. In the 2015/16 season she took part in the Nor-Am Cup and finished 22nd in the overall ranking. In February 2016 she came at the U23 World Championships in Râșnov on 49th place over 10 km classic, 48th place over 10 km classic and 35th place in the sprint. The following month she made her debut on the Ski Tour Canada , which she ended prematurely. The 67th place in the sprint and in the pursuit in Québec was her best result. The following season she reached 35th place in the overall standings of the Nor Am Cup. Her best placement was sixth in the Whistler sprint . At the U23 World Championships in 2017 in Soldier Hollow , she finished 41st in the 10 km freestyle, 38th in the skiathlon and 36th in the sprint. In February 2017, she took 49th place in the sprint at the World Ski Championships in Lahti . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she ran 83rd place over 10 km freestyle and 59th place in the sprint.
