Matthew Butler (special effects artist)

Matthew E. Butler (born before 1991) is a film technician who specializes in visual effects and works for Digital Domain .

Life

Butler grew up in Ashtead , Surrey . After graduating from Therfield School and studying at the University of Manchester , he was awarded a 1991 scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology , where he obtained a master's degree in aerospace. Butler finally joined Digital Domain in 1994, where he was nominated for an Oscar in 2012 for his greatest success to date, Transformers 3 .
