Matthias Andresen

Matthias Andresen (born April 14, 1904 in Tondern , Schleswig-Holstein province , † October 22, 1992 ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

Andresen was a master tailor by profession. He was president of the Flensburg Chamber of Crafts .

Political party

Andresen was a member of the CDU since 1946. In the 1950s he was chairman of the Husum district association .

MP

Andresen was city representative in Husum from 1948 and since 1954 mayor there.

From 1954 to 1971 Andresen was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . He represented the constituency of Husum- Eiderstedt in parliament. From 1958 to 1962 he was deputy secretary of the state parliament.

Public offices

Andresen was parliamentary representative of the Minister of Economics and Transport from 1967 to 1971.

Honors

Andresen was awarded the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Cross of Merit on May 27, 1968 .
