Matthias Euler-Rolle (born June 20, 1977 in Vienna ) is an Austrian entrepreneur. From June 2015 to May 2016 he was head of communications for the SPÖ . He was previously a radio and television presenter.

Life

Matthias Euler-Rolle's career began in 1994 at Radio CD International as the youngest radio presenter in Austria. At the end of 1997 he switched to Ö3 to moderate various programs such as Ö3 Nachtflug and Ö3 Wecker . During this time he also tried his hand at acting in the television crime novels Kommissar Rex and Fever . From 1999 to 2002, Euler-Rolle and Martina Kaiser alternately presented the TV show Ö3 Austria Top 40 .

When Martina Kaiser left ORF in 2002 , Euler-Rolle took over the chart show Ö3 Austria Top 40 , which he hosted until April 30, 2004, when she was replaced by Gustav Götz . In 2005 he could be seen in the Ruck Zuck studio of ATV and Tele 5 for a few months until ATV stopped coproducing the show.

From March 2009 to January 2010, Euler-Rolle presented the morning show on Radio 88.6 , alternating with Hary Raithofer .

Matthias Euler-Rolle is married and has a daughter. He and his friend and colleague Alexander Rinnerhofer have already written two books about this experience.

From 2004 to 2014 he ran his communications and PR agency, ER Media Group. From summer 2012 to January 2014, Matthias Euler-Rolle was program director of the Viennese private radio station "98.3 Superfly, Your Soul Radio". At the end of 2012 he acquired a 34% stake in the company. Together with his business partner, he opened the Viennese trendy bar "Puff" in November 2012, the shares of which he handed over to his business partner at the beginning of 2014.

On February 3, 2014, he became press spokesman for Chancellery Minister Josef Ostermayer for the fields of art and culture.

From January 2015 he was the press spokesman for Federal Chancellor Werner Faymann . In June 2015 he was appointed head of communications for the SPÖ. After Faymann left politics in May 2016, Euler-Rolle also terminated his contract with the SPÖ by mutual agreement. In September 2016, together with Werner Faymann, he founded a company focusing on the development of real estate projects and public relations .
