Matthias Kreuzeder

Matthias "Hias" Kreuzeder (born February 24, 1949 in Freilassing ) is a German organic farmer and former German member of the Bundestag ( The Greens ).

Life

Matthias Kreuzeder runs a farm in Freilassing-Eham in the Berchtesgadener Land district .

Kreuzeder joined the Green Party in 1982 . In the 1987 Bundestag election he was elected to the German Bundestag via the Bavarian State List of the Greens , to which he was a member until the end of the 11th electoral term in December 1990. In the Bundestag Kreuzeder was a full member of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forests and a deputy member of the Economic Committee . In 1991 he resigned from the party.

In 1993 Kreuzeder founded the Resurrection of Free Peasants of Russia Association , which supports the establishment of family farms in Russia. For his work in Russia, he was with the Medal of Merit Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.
