Matthias Laros
Matthias Laros (born March 1, 1882 in Trier , † June 24, 1965 in Koblenz ) was a Catholic theologian and publicist.
Life and work
Laros published numerous works and articles on the subject of the Church and the World. Laros made lasting contributions to the Newman reception in Germany with the publication of the Selected Works by John Henry Newman . After the execution of Max Josef Metzger in April 1944, he took over the leadership of the Una Sancta movement .
From 1939 to 1948 Laros was pastor of St. Menas in Stolzenfels near Koblenz.
