Matthias Messner

Matthias Messner (born November 20, 1976 in Antholz in South Tyrol ; † March 17, 2019 in Perchtoldsdorf ) was an Austrian film and theater actor .

Life

Messner studied acting at the Franz Schubert Conservatory for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.

As a theater actor he was at the Theater der Jugend (“Die wilde Sophie”), Theater Spielraum (“Der Zauberberg”, “Worlds of Yesterday”), at the Volkstheater Wien (“Weiningers Nacht”, “Cabaret”), Stadttheater Bruneck (“Reiher "," Merlin "," Im Weißen Rößl "), at the Off-Theater Vienna and in the Kulturhofkeller Villach (" 2 Brothers ") as well as with Shakespeare in Styria .

He also played in small roles in an episode of the television series Rosenheim-Cops and in the television film Just Married - Weddings Two .

Messner has been missing since March 17, 2019 and found dead in a forest near Perchtoldsdorf on March 20, 2019.
