Tom Keller

Tom Keller (* 1985 in Bern ) is a Swiss filmmaker and cameraman .

Career

After graduating from the bilingual high school in Biel / Bienne in 2004 , Keller first did an internship at local television in Lyss and the surrounding area and later at SRF Swiss television . 2007 Tom Keller attended the film class of the preparatory course of the CCT K under the direction of Anna Luif . In the following years he attended the film school of the Zurich University of the Arts under the direction of Bernhard Lehner . In 2012 he graduated with the short film Parachutes in the field of camera.

His work as a cameraman and filmmaker began parallel to his studies. In 2009 he founded the Swiss film production company 24frames GmbH. He produced and filmed advertising films with his company, and later also documentaries such as Winna - Weg der Seelen .

As a freelance cameraman, he worked for the first time in 2010 for the cinema documentary "Der Choreograf Heinz Spörli " by director Werner Zeindler. In 2013 he shot with Attention Done WK! as the second cameraman, his first feature film.

From 2015 to 2019 he shot the series Capelli Code with the director Alex Martin and the actors Peter Lohmeyer , Ania Kling , Hinnerk Schönemann and Claudia Menert . He lives in Berlin .
