Career
When Lüneburger SK Rose started playing football. Via ASV Bergedorf 85 , where he spent five years, he came to TuS Hoisdorf , who had just been promoted to the Regionalliga Nord, on the initiative of coach Gerd-Volker Schock . When Schock became an amateur coach at Hamburger SV in 1995 , he also brought in central defender Rose. Rose played his first Bundesliga game for Hamburger SV on matchday 29 of the 1995/96 season in a 2-2 draw against Bayer 04 Leverkusen . He played a total of six games for Hamburg in the German Bundesliga. He spent the 1997/98 season at SV Meppen in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 1998 Rose was signed again by Schock, who was meanwhile coach of VfL Osnabrück . In 1998/99 he was with VfL champion of the Regionalliga Nord, but failed in the promotion games to the 2nd Bundesliga. 1999/2000 they were again regional league champions and rose to the second division.
After not getting a new contract in 2001, Rose moved to Holstein Kiel together with Kay Wenschlag and Lars Schiersand . There he played for three years in the Regionalliga Nord. After a one-year stint at Preußen Münster , Heiko Flottmann brought him back to Osnabrück for two years as coach of VfL Osnabrück II. At Brinkumer SV , TuS Syke and TSV Fischerhude , he let his football career end in 2013.
