Matthias Schröter

Matthias Schröter (born February 10, 1972 in Lüdenscheid ) is a German journalist . He works as head of the service for the Deutsche Richterzeitung (DRiZ) and as press spokesman for the German Judges Association (DRB). He lives in Berlin .

Life

Schröter attended the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium in Lüdenscheid and graduated from high school in 1991. He studied history and political science at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster and volunteered from 1999 to 2001 at the German Press Agency (dpa). Schröter later worked for the online subsidiary of dpa, dpa-infocom, as an editor in the Potsdam state office and in the capital city office in Berlin. In 2008 Schröter went to the GAL parliamentary group in Hamburg, which was involved in a black-green government under First Mayor Ole von Beust ( CDU ) - in the Senate of Beust III . In 2009 he moved to the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group in the Berlin House of Representatives .

He later worked for the Federal Association of German Bus Entrepreneurs (bdo).

During his school days Schröter worked as a freelance journalist for the local and district editorial team of the Westfälische Rundschau in Lüdenscheid.
