Mattia Sbragia
Mattia Sbragia (born April 17, 1952 in Rome ) is an Italian actor and voice actor .
Life
Mattia Sbragia is the son of Giancarlo Sbragias and Esmeralda Ruspolis , both of whom were also actors. He made his debut in 1974 in the film Nipoti miei diletti ; from then on he played regularly in Italian productions. Since the 1990s, Sbragia has also received roles in internationally known productions such as The Count of Monte Christo (1998). In 2004 he took on the role of Caiphas in The Passion of the Christ , a priest who played a decisive role in the death of Jesus.
