Maurice Hirsch (born May 30, 1993 in Mannheim ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with VfB Gartenstadt since 2019 .
Career
Having grown up in the Mannheim district of Neckarau , Hirsch started playing football at TSV at home . After two years he joined the SV Waldhof Mannheim , for which he played from the F to the C youth. Then he moved to the youth department of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim . With their A-Juniors, he won the DFB Cup in 2010 . From 2012 to 2014 he played for the Hoffenheim reserve team in the Regionalliga Süd.
For the 2014/15 season he moved to Bundesliga club Hannover 96 , for whom he made his debut on October 25, 2014 against Borussia Dortmund .
In order to get match practice, Hirsch was awarded to the second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the second half of the 2015/16 season . Then he returned to Hanover. In the 2017/18 season, Hirsch joined the Stuttgarter Kickers in the Regionalliga Südwest and moved to SV Waldhof Mannheim in the summer of 2018. With the club he became champions in the 2018/19 season and was promoted to the third division.
After his contract was not extended, however, he moved to the Mannheim association league club VfB Gartenstadt.
