Maurice Wiese

Maurice (Momo) Wiese (born September 29, 1995 in Diedenbergen ) is a German slackliner .

His interest was aroused by riding a skateboard , he ordered a slackline from the manufacturer Gibbon . The autodidact has trained himself everything and has apparently found a job there through television. He travels to trade fairs and exhibitions . He is on the "Gibbon International Pro Team" and is sponsored by Five Ten, Base and Gibbon.

He lives and lives in Hofheim am Taunus .

Athletic career

The final of the first Gibbon Slackline Contest took place as part of the IMS Boulder Festival organized by the South Tyrol Alpine Club. With the final in Brixen ( South Tyrol ) the first overall world cup in slackline also ended. From the first two competitions, the best eight qualified for the grand finale at the International Mountain Summit in Brixen: Azcan (JP), Nick ten Hoopen (NL), Janek Galek (PL), Bernd Hassmann (DE), Felix Hachfeld (DE ), Luis Meier, (DE), Maurice Wiese (DE), Andy Lewis (USA). Maurice Wiese became the first slackline world champion on November 5th, 2010. As a result, he was entered in the Golden Book of the city of Hofheim am Taunus and was a guest of Stefan Raab on his TV program TV Total ( ProSieben ). There he showed some tricks on the slackline on January 24th, 2011.

Maurice won the German championships in Lindau (Lake Constance) on June 25, 2011 .
