Maurice de Germiny (born November 23, 1939 in Saint-Maurice-du-Désert ) is a French clergyman and emeritus bishop of Blois .

Life

Maurice Le Bègue de Germiny was ordained a priest on June 29, 1974 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Blois on March 27, 1997. The Archbishop of Paris , Jean-Marie Cardinal Lustiger , donated him episcopal ordination on May 24th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Pierre Plateau , Archbishop of Bourges , and Henri Brincard CRSA , Bishop of Le Puy-en-Velay .

On November 22, 2014, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
