Mauricia Prieto (born November 20, 1995 ) is a track and field athlete from Trinidad and Tobago who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Mauricia Prieto gained her first international experience in 2014 at the Junior World Championships in Eugene , where she finished fourth in the Trinidadian-Tobacco 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.75 s. In 2019 she took part in the 200-meter run at the Pan American Games in Lima , where she was eliminated in the first round with 23.66 seconds. In addition, she was fourth with the season in 43.57 s. She also qualified for the World Championships in Doha , where she was eliminated in the first round over 200 meters with 23.33 s , while she came in sixth with the relay in 42.71 s.

In 2014 Prieto became the Trinidadian-Tobagian champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay.
