Mauro Bicicli

Mauro Bicicli (born January 15, 1935 in Crema ; † August 22, 2001 ibid.) Was an Italian football player and coach.

As a striker , Mauro Bicicli played for Inter Milan for nine years and scored 27 goals in 182 games for this team. Although his time as a regular was from 1957 to 1962, he came to the most important game of his career in 1967 when he defeated Celtic Glasgow , which the Scots won 2-1, for the injured Luis in the final of the European Cup Suarez was used.

His other clubs as a player were in addition to his home club Crema AC Parma , Catania , Genoa , Lanerossi Vicenza and Brescia . As a coach he worked for Brescia, Ospidaletto, Fanfulla and Legnano. Mauro Bicicli died of a liver tumor at the age of 66.
