Max Gerbaulet

Max Gerbaulet (born February 28, 1864 in Münster , † December 20, 1949 in Vohren ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator of the Warendorf district .

Life

Max Gerbaulet was born as the son of Ferdinand Gerbaulet and Sophie Druffel, who came from an originally French civil servant family. After graduating from the March 24, 1882 at the high school he studied at the Universities of Münster University of Freiburg , University of Munich and Berlin University Law . On October 31, 1885, he passed his examination as a trainee lawyer at the Cologne Higher Regional Court with "sufficient", as well as the examination for government assessor on April 25, 1891. From April 1, 1882 to the end of March 1883, he did his military service as a one-year volunteer 5th Baden Infantry Regiment No. 113 and was Prime Lieutenant here . On November 9, 1885, he was appointed court clerk at the Hamm Higher Regional Court and on March 28, 1888, he moved to the Gumbinnen government as a government clerk . Appointed government assessor on May 14, 1891, he was referred to the district administrator of the Münster district on June 17, 1891 . Three years later, on June 16, 1894, he joined the college of the Münster government and, on August 1, 1899, took over the municipal administration of the District Office of Warendorf. On January 26, 1900, the district council unanimously asked for his appointment as district administrator for the Warendorf district. This decision was implemented on March 14, 1900 with the definitive appointment as District Administrator of the Warendorf district. Due to reaching the age limit, Gerbaulet retired on April 1, 1929.

He was a member of the Provincial Parliament and the Provincial Committee and since 1919 a member of the central faction in the Provincial Parliament. Max Gerbaulet married Franziska Scheffer-Boichorst on May 29, 1893 in Vohren.

Gerbaulet had two older brothers Gustav (* October 11, 1859) and Karl-August (* November 20, 1862) as well as an older sister Eugenie (* February 11, 1861).
