Max hawk
Christian Maximilian Habicht , also Max Habicht (born March 8, 1775 in Breslau , Lower Silesia , † October 25, 1839 ibid) was a German Arabist . He wrote a complete translation of the Arabic tales “A Thousand and One Nights ” based on Antoine Galland's translation , which he, together with Friedrich Heinrich von der Hagen and Karl Schall, completed and completely translated for the first time from a Tunisian manuscript (Breslau 1825).
