Max Jörg Vorwerk

Max Jörg Vorwerk (born May 26, 1934 in Wuppertal ; † February 12, 2015 there ) was a German entrepreneur and patron.

Max Jörg Vorwerk came from the Vorwerk entrepreneurial family in Wuppertal and was their partner. He was committed to the Vorwerkpark , a landscape park in the Wuppertal district of Barmen , district of Lichtenplatz . He converted the family's private park, which was not open to the public, into a foundation and handed the property over to the public in 2003. He was also on the extended board of the Barmer Beautification Association .

He lived in Bad Wörishofen and was a patron of sports and cultural activities. He is the namesake of the "Max Jörg Vorwerk Reithalle" in Bad Wörishofen and received the city's medal of merit.
