biography

Max Korsch attended a music school at a young age. At the age of 16 he founded his own band "LunClan" with his friends, but it was not active for long. The following projects were also less successful. After various setbacks, Korsch tried himself as a beat maker and composed music for other artists. This idea wasn't successful either, so he started singing along with his own instrumentals.

Korsch recorded his first solo song while studying at the Belarusian State University. Before his third year of college, he decided to quit studying to get serious about music. He recorded the song Небо поможет нам (German: "Heaven will help us") and published it on the social network VKontakte . He was then drafted into the army. Upon his return, he learned that the song was becoming popular on the Internet, after which some radio stations in Minsk played the song. Then he started sending his songs to DJs who played them in different clubs.

On April 7, 2012 Korsch released his first music video for Небо поможет нам . It reached first place in the Belarusian music charts. In the summer of 2012 Korsch released his first album Животный мир (German: "Animal World"). The album contained 16 songs written by himself. In the same year he signed a contract with the Respect Production label, which enabled him to give a series of concerts in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine in early 2013 .

In the summer of 2013 he was nominated for the MUS TW Award in the “Breakthrough of the Year” category. His second album, Жить в кайф (German: "Hoch Leben"), was presented on November 2, 2013 in the Minsk Arena . The presentation was attended by around 13,000 people, which is a record for a Belarusian artist.

In 2013, the album Жить в кайф reached 5th place in the list of the best Russian-language albums. In the same year Max Korsch took second place in the competition of the 'A-One Hip-Hop Music' channel as “Artist of the Year”. In the ranking of the Ukrainian Google Trends for "Man of the Year 2013", Max Korsch took 9th place. A major concert tour was organized in 2014. Also in 2014, Max Korsch won the “Album of the Year” award at the MUS-TW Awards 2014 with the album Жить в кайф . In October 2014, Max Korsch released his third album, Домашний (German: "Home"). After that he went on tour regularly in the CIS countries and some European cities.

In June 2015 Max Korsch was nominated for three categories of the MUS-TW-2015-Awards: “Best Hip-Hop-Project”, “Best Album” and “Best Concert Show”. On February 10, 2016, Korsch was banned from entering Ukraine for five years because of a speech on the Crimean peninsula by the Ukraine Security Service . In December 2017 he became the winner of the VK Music Awards. In June 2019 he and his band had a concert in Kiev.

On November 10, 2012, Max married Korsch; on April 5, 2013, his wife Tatiana gave birth to their daughter.
