Max Lehmer (politician)
Max Lehmer (born March 21, 1885 in Erding ; † March 26, 1964 there ) was a German economist and politician ( BVP , later CSU ).
Life and work
After schooling Lehmer began studying forestry, economics and law, which he in 1910 with the graduation to the Dr. rer. pole. finished. He then went on a study trip to Australia and New Zealand . In 1912 he took over the management of his parents' business. From 1914 to 1918 he took part in the First World War as a soldier .
Political party
At the end of 1918, Lehmer was one of the founding members of BVP. After 1945 he joined the CSU.
MP
Lehmer was a councilor for the city of Erding until 1933. In 1946 he was a member of the Bavarian State Constitutional Assembly and was then a member of the Bavarian State Parliament until 1950 .
Public offices
Lehmer was first mayor of the city of Erding from 1930 to 1933 and from March to September 1946. In 1945, initially on a provisional basis, and from 1946 to 1948 he served as district administrator for the Erding district .
