Martin Bayerstorfer (* 28. May 1966 in Landshut ) is a German politician ( CSU ), and since 2002 District Administrator of the district Erding .

After an agricultural vocational and technical school Bayerstorfer attended on a scholarship at the Landvolkshochschule the Higher Agriculture School and put the master's certificate from. Since then he has been working as an independent farmer .

Martin Bayerstorfer is married and has three children.

politics

In 1990 Bayerstorfer was elected mayor of the Hohenpolding community . Since 1993 he has been deputy CSU district chairman in the Erding district. In 1996 he was elected to the district council and entered the Bavarian state parliament as a successor to the Upper Bavaria list . There he worked in the Petitions Committee and in the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Forestry. In 1998 he could not move into the state parliament again via the list.

In 2001, Bayerstorfer was elected district chairman of the CSU and a year later in the local elections with 67.9% of the votes in the first ballot to the district administrator of the district of Erding. Since then, as district administrator, he has been particularly committed to maintaining the district hospital in municipal hands and the modernization of the two district clinics in Erding and Dorfen ; the educational offer has been expanded with the construction of a third grammar school, a technical and vocational college and the establishment of a private university of applied sciences since he took office, and the Erdinger geothermal project (from which the Erding thermal baths, among others, gets its water) continued.

In the local elections in 2008 he was confirmed in office as district administrator with 62.19% of the votes in the first ballot. In 2014 he was able to maintain his office in the local elections with 54.5% in the first ballot against six opposing candidates.

Bayerstorfer has also been Deputy Chairman of the CSU Upper Bavaria since 2007 .

Martin Bayerstorfer became President of the Association of Bavarian Singing and Music Schools in October 2010. V. (VBSM) elected.

Honors

Bayerstorfer was awarded the gold badge of honor by the Erding District Hunting Association in 2007.

In July 2013 Bayerstorfer received the Municipal Medal of Merit in silver.
