Max Mayerhofer

Max Mayerhofer (born July 15, 1990 in Zwettl-Niederösterreich ) is an Austrian TV presenter and journalist.

Career

After graduating from the Bundesgymnasium Zwettl, Max Mayerhofer studied law and Slavic studies at the University of Vienna . He then completed the journalists' college of the Board of Trustees for Journalist Training in Salzburg and the master's degree in quality journalism at Danube University Krems .

Mayerhofer then started as a trainee in the Austrian embassy in Brussels . After his return to Vienna, the native of Waldviertel worked for the eastern Austrian regional broadcaster schauTV in Eisenstadt, both as a reporter and a presenter. In 2014 he moved to the ORF State Studio in Vienna and in 2015 finally to the largest Austrian private broadcaster PULS 4 . Initially he was the designer for the evening-before-night magazine iLIKE, after only nine months on the station he switched to Café Puls and Mayerhofer from then on moderated breakfast television with Bianca Schwarzjirg as a replacement for Florian Danner . In 2017 Mayerhofer received a grant from the US-Austrian Exchange Fellowship of the Board of Trustees for Journalist Education and a stay in Washington in the USA followed. Here Mayerhofer worked for both USA Today and as a correspondent for PULS 4 News , where he worked as an (on-air) reporter after his return.

Since March 2018, Mayerhofer and Barbara Fleißner have been part of the main team of moderators at Café Puls magazine .

Private

Mayerhofer has been married to his long-term partner since 2018.
