Max Necker

Max Necker (born August 10, 1890 in Hamburg , † October 21, 1968 in Bad Bramstedt ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was mayor in Stargard in Pomerania , Old Sallenthin and Wriezen an der Oder .

Life

Born as the son of an editor , Necker attended the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Realgymnasium in Stettin and then studied law in Tübingen , Berlin and Greifswald . During his studies in 1909 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . In Greifswald in 1913 he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD . Later he was mayor of Stargard Pomerania, Alt Sallenthin and Wriezen an der Oder (1925-1937). In 1933 he was elected district administrator in Stargard, but as a Freemason he was not allowed into office by the National Socialists; However, he remained mayor and was forced into retirement in 1936. After the war he was a councilor at the district court of Bad Bramstedt , where he retired in 1955.
