Max Rossmann (painter)

Max Rossmann (born April 16, 1889 in Munich ; † 1961 there ) was a German painter.

Life

Max Rossmann was born in Munich in 1889 as the son of the painter and sculptor Max Georg Rossmann (1861–1926). After training with his father, he began studying at the Munich Academy in October 1912 , initially at Martin Feuerstein's drawing school .

Rossmann was based in Munich after completing his studies. His work consisted mainly of landscape and architectural images as well as miniatures . Max Rossmann was a member of the German Association of Artists . He died in Munich in 1961.
