Max Simon (politician, 1814)

Max Simon (born September 9, 1814 in Breslau ; † March 19, 1872 ibid) was a German lawyer, politician and member of the Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Simon studied Protestant theology from 1833 to 1836 and then until 1838 law in Breslau. Then he was in the Prussian civil service until 1846, until 1848 Princely Pleaser General Plenipotentiary and Chamber Director in Pless . From 1848 to 1852 he was a district judge in Berlin and Lübben , and since then a lawyer and notary in Breslau.

In 1848/49 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly and since 1862 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives . He was also a city councilor in Wroclaw and since 1864 city council chief. In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Breslau 6 (Breslau-Stadt Ost) and the German Progressive Party . He voted for the constitution of the North German Confederation.
