Max von Milland (born September 3, 1985 in Brixen ; real name Maximilian Hilpold ) is a South Tyrolean dialect singer and songwriter .

Life

The stage name Max von Milland refers to the musician's hometown. Von Milland appeared in the opening act for Sportfreunde Stiller und Söhne Mannheims , accompanied the Bavarian songwriter Claudia Koreck on her tour in 2011 and was part of the tour of Fiva & Das Phantom Orchester 2012. In 2011 he received the promotion award for youngsters as part of the songs on a summer evening Songwriter of the Hanns Seidel Foundation .

In January 2013 the debut album "Woher i actually kimm" was released on the label Wildwechsel . The first single "Leg di her" was released on June 15, 2012. The album was produced by the German producer OLAF Opal . He received musical support from Simon Frontzek ( Sir Simon Battle ), Alex Jezdinsky ( Naked Lunch ) and Thomas “Slowy” Merkel.

On December 1, 2012 Max resigned from Milland in by Oliver Pocher moderated show "Samstag LIVE!" on SKY Sport. On January 26, 2013, Max von Milland was a guest on the ARD program Inas Nacht and sang the title "Leg di her" there.

After the collaboration with the record company Universal Music, Max von Milland founded his own label "0472 Records" in 2015. 0472 stands for the phone code of his hometown Brixen in South Tyrol. In the same year he also released his second album "Bis dir olls again gfollt". In addition to numerous live concerts of his own in South Tyrol, Austria, Switzerland and Germany, Max von Milland toured in 2016 as a support act for the Norwegian pop group aha.

In October 2018 the South Tyrolean musician's third album will be released with the title "Bring mi Hoam". The advance single "Herz über Bluat" was released in May 2018. The song is described by the Munich music journalist Gerald Huber as a "Manifesto of Humanity". In the title song of the album "Bring mi Hoam" you can also hear a quote from Reinhold Messner. In the same year he also appeared as a guest on Hannes Ringlstetter's album “Fürchtet sich nicht” on the title “Tutto passato”, on which he sang in Italian for the first time.
