Maxim 'Max' Alexandrowitsch Fadejew ( Russian Максим Александрович Фадеев ; born May 6, 1968 in Kurgan ) is a Russian music producer , director , arranger , composer and songwriter .

biography

Maxim Fadeev's family had a musical background. At the age of five he went to a music school and at the age of 13 he learned the bass guitarand at the age of 15 Maxim attended the music college. He started writing songs at the age of 17. Fadeev played in a band called "Konvoj" (Russian "Конвой"), where the differences led to the separation with the group. He later came back as a soloist and there were several smaller concerts. Maxim Fadejew won prizes and prestige at competitions in the late 80s, which led to engagements and a. for commercial music. Sergei Krilow invited Fadejew to Moscow, where he worked in 1993 as an arranger in a recording studio for well-known artists (including Larissa Dolina). His own, original and different-sounding song works did not yet fit into the current format on radio or television at the time. Fadeev's solo career took off when he met the singer Linda and successfully produced her. In the meantime, Fadeev is one of the most commercially successful producers in Russia alongside Igor Krutoi and Igor Nikolajew . He has lived with his wife Natalia, Linda's former make-up artist, with whom he has a son, for more than 20 years.

Producer center and music label

In 2003 Max Fadejew founded his own producer center and became a co-owner of the music label "Монолит Рекордс" (English "Monolith Records").

Eurovision Song Contest 2004

With the song "Believe me" produced by Fadejew, Julija Sawitschewa took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul , with which she reached 11th place. Her single / album "Visoko" (German "Hoch") was released on Fadejew's label Monolith Records.
