Maxim Gokhberg (born July 20, 1996 in Gedera ) is an Israeli ice hockey goalkeeper who has been playing for HC Bat Yam in the Israeli ice hockey league since 2013 .

Career

Maxim Gokhberg began his career as an ice hockey player with HC Bat Yam , for whom he made his first appearances in the Israeli ice hockey league at the age of 18 . With the team from Gush Dan , he won the Israeli championship in 2016 and 2018 . In 2018 he was also voted the most valuable player in the league.

International

In the junior division, Gokhberg played for Israel at the U18 World Cup in 2014 and in the U20 World Cup in 2016 , when the Israelis took part in this age group for the first time in 19 years, both in Division III.

With the Israeli men's selection , Gokhberg took part in the World Championships in 2016 , 2017 , when he achieved the third-best catch quota of the tournament, and 2018 .
