Maxim Nucci (born February 23, 1979 in Créteil , Val-de-Marne ; actually Maxime Nouchy ), stage name Yodelice , is a French musician.

Career

At the age of six he learned to play the guitar and at the age of 15 he went to the London Music School for two years , where he also gave lessons as a guitar teacher to older students. Then he was on the road as a musician, with his own band Max and with Brother 2 Brother on a tour of Spain.

In the early 2000s he was signed by Universal in France and worked with Santiago Casariego, the ex Mano Negra drummer, as a songwriter and producer for the casting show band L5 .

He didn't have success with his own single, but with the film Alive in 2004 he stepped into the limelight for the first time. He not only provided the film soundtrack, but also appeared as an actor himself. In addition, his liaison with the pop singer and casting show winner Jenifer began , which also made him known. For her, he also wrote and produced largely for her third album Lunatique (2007).

He pushed his own music career under the name Maxim Nucci from 2006 when he released his debut album of the same name in November. Still, he didn't make the breakthrough. It was only after the separation from Jenifer and with a change of image in 2008 that the company became successful. He performed under the name Yodelice , with a hat and a painted tear on his cheek, and played sad, bluesy folk songs. He named himself after the Casa Yodelice , as the house on the southern Spanish coast was called, where his album Tree of Life was made. Musically he is supported by some well-known musicians such as the drummer Abe Laboriel junior , he made it to number 11 in the French album charts in May 2009 and was also successful in Switzerland and French-speaking Belgium.

He made a guest appearance in the movies MR 73 - Until Death Redeems You (2008) and Little True Lies (2010).
