Maxim Sergejewitsch Jeprew ( Russian Максим Сергеевич Епрев ; born December 3, 1988 in the Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player , who was most recently under contract with HK Dynamo Balaschicha in the Vysschaja Hockey League .

Career

Maxim Jeprew began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of Vitjas Chekhov , for whose professional team he made his debut in the super league in the 2007/08 season . In his rookie year , the defender remained pointless in eight games and received 66 penalty minutes. For the 2008/09 season Vitjas Chekhov was added to the newly founded Continental Hockey League . In his first KHL season he received two penalty minutes in four games and remained pointless. Parallel to the game operation with Vitjas in the KHL Jeprew ran in the 2008/09 season for the MHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. In the second division he gave three assists in 19 games.

In the 2009/10 season Jeprew was active in parallel for Vitjas in the KHL and for their junior team in the first-time multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In the following season , the Russian played only two games in the entire KHL season before he was committed in May 2011 by Metallurg Novokuznetsk .
