Maximilian Arbesser of Rastburg

Maximilian "Max" Caesar Maria Arbesser von Rastburg (born October 8, 1924 in Graz ; † April 30, 2010 in Vienna ) was an Austrian entrepreneur and business lawyer .

Life

Max Arbesser received his doctorate in law and worked as an entrepreneur ( Brevillier-Urban AG ) and business lawyer from the 1950s .

He has been involved in educational policy tasks since the post-war years and was a co-founder of the later Forum Alpbach . Since 1964, when the VWG “School and Business” working group was founded in Lower Austria, he has been committed to education. He was a founding member and long-time board member of the Personal Forum as well as a long-time supervisor of the Personnel Accounting Forum. He was a member of the Social Policy Committee of the Association of Austrian Industrialists.

He was representative of the Austrian industry at the International Organization of Employers (IOE) in Geneva and at the International Labor Organization ( ILO ) in Geneva, most recently as Vice President.

He was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery .
