Maximilian von Korff called Schmising

Maximilian von Korff called Schmising (born July 10, 1809 in Münster ; † 1861 there ) was a Prussian district administrator .

Life

Born as the son of Maximilian Frederik Hendrik von Korff called Schmising (* 1779, † 1840) and Therese von Boeselager (* 1780, † 1859), Maximilian von Korff called Schmising studied law and Cameralia at universities after graduating from the Münster high school Göttingen and Berlin. He passed his auscultation exam on June 29, 1832 at the Berlin Court of Appeal with "properly qualified". On October 13, 1835, he passed the exam to become a court trainee with “good”. He did his military service as a one-year volunteer with the 2nd Westphalian Hussar Regiment No. 11 in Münster and was second lieutenant in the 13th Landwehr Cavalry Regiment. On August 1, 1832, von Korff was appointed auscultator at the Münster Higher Regional Court. On October 31, 1835, the appointment as a trainee lawyer at the Berlin Superior Court came into effect. A month later he became a government trainee lawyer with the Potsdam government. Here he stayed until the election as a candidate for the Lüdinghausen district office on October 4, 1839. On November 11, 1839, he was entrusted with the municipal administration of the Lüdinghausen district and on July 18, 1840, was appointed as the district administrator of the Lüdinghausen district. On December 27, 1856, he was dismissed from civil service due to illness.

His brother Klemens von Korff was the district administrator of the Halle (Westphalia) district .
