Maximilian Nikolaus Maria Prinz von und zu Liechtenstein, Graf zu Rietberg (born May 16, 1969 in St. Gallen ) is a Liechtenstein manager. The son of Prince Hans Adam II von und zu Liechtenstein is CEO of the LGT Group .

Prince Maximilian was born as the second son of the then Hereditary Prince Hans Adam Pius (* 1945) and his wife Countess Marie Kinsky von Wchinitz and Tettau (* 1940) and attended primary school and high school in Liechtenstein. After an interim year of internships and trips, he studied business administration at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel . After graduating in 1993, he worked for Chase Capital Partners in New York. From 1997 to 1998 he continued his academic training at Harvard Business School in Boston and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree . From 1998 he worked in Hamburg and London at a venture capital company, then from 2000–2006 at JP Morgan Partners . He has been CEO of the LGT Group since 2006 .

family

In December 1999 he got engaged to Angela Brown (* 1958 in Bocas del Toro / Panama, daughter of Javier Francisco Brown and Silvia Maritza Brown née Burke). The wedding took place on January 29, 2000 at Saint Vincent Ferrer Church in New York with family and friends.

The couple have one son:

  • Prince Alfons Constantin Maria von und zu Liechtenstein, Count zu Rietberg (born May 18, 2001).

Title, salutation and coat of arms

The prince's full title is:

Prince von und zu Liechtenstein , Count zu Rietberg .

All members of the house have the salutation of Highness and bear the coat of arms of the Princely Family.
