Title, salutation and coat of arms

The full title of Joseph Wenzel is, according to the Liechtenstein house law: Prince von und zu Liechtenstein , Graf zu Rietberg .

All members of the Princely House of Liechtenstein are salutated with your highness and bear the coat of arms of the Princely Family.

Deviating from the house law, his mother has the courtesy salutation Her Royal Highness (written form IKH ), as it comes from the formerly ruling royal house of Wittelsbach ( Kings of Bavaria , 1806-1918) and is therefore of a higher rank in terms of protocol .
