Otto Ludwig Haas-Heye

Otto Ludwig Haas-Heye (born December 16, 1879 in Heidelberg ; † June 9, 1959 in Mannheim ) was a German fashion designer and professor at the Berlin Art School .

Otto Ludwig Haas-Heye headed the fashion department of the Kunstgewerbemuseum at Prinz-Albrecht-Straße 8. He was the editor of the Graphische Modeblätter.

family

Haas-Heye married on May 12, 1909 in Liebenberg Viktoria Ada Astrid Agnes Countess zu Eulenburg (1886-1967), a daughter of Philipp zu Eulenburg . In 1921 this marriage was divorced again. His children were Libertas Viktoria Haas-Heye (1913–1942) and Johannes Haas-Heye (1912–2008), "Pioneer of the new democratic media in occupied western post-war Germany" and Ottora Maria Haas-Heye (1910–2001), wife of the Swedish Ambassador Carl Graf Douglas (1908–1961) and mother of Elizabeth Duchess in Bavaria (* 1940) and Rosita Spencer-Churchill (* 1943). The wife of the Liechtenstein heir to the throne, Sophie Princess of Bavaria, is his great-granddaughter.
