The McHenry River is a river in the far north of the Australian state of Queensland on the Cape York Peninsula .

River course

The river has its source in the southern part of the Jardine River National Park , around twelve kilometers from the coast of the Coral Sea in the northern foothills of the Great Dividing Range . It flows through the national park in a north-northwest direction and flows into the Jardine River in the center of the park .
