Mechra Bel Ksiri ( Arabic مشرع بلقصيري) Is a nordmarokkanische town of about 35,000 inhabitants in the province of Sidi Kacem in the Region Rabat-Sale-Kénitra . The name Mechra means something like ford .
Location and climate
Mechra Bel Ksiri is located on the north bank of the Oued Sebou at a height of about 15 m . The Moroccan capital Rabat is about 130 km (driving distance) to the southwest; to Tangier it is about 170 km to the north. The climate is temperate to warm; Rain (approx. 570 mm / year) falls almost exclusively in the winter half-year.
