Meester class 2019/20
The 97th Dutch team championship in chess was to be played in the Meester class 2019/20 , but the competition was ended prematurely after six of nine rounds due to the COVID-19 pandemic ; there was neither the championship title nor promotion or relegation for the coming season. The defending champion was LSG IntelliMagic ; Groninger Combinatie and Caissa Amsterdam had moved up from class 1 last year .

Game dates
The competitions were held on September 28, November 2 and 23, December 14, 2019, February 1 and March 7, 2020 and took place locally at the clubs involved. The last three rounds were planned for March 28, April 18 and May 16, 2020, with the last round to be held centrally in Bloemendaal .
