Dmitri Alexandrowitsch Megalinski ( Russian Дмитрий Александрович Мегалинский ; born April 15, 1985 in Perm , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Arlan Kökschetau since July 2018 .

Career

Dmitri Megalinsky began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Molot-Prikamje Perm . From there he moved to Lokomotive Yaroslavl in 2002 , for whose second team he was active in the third-class Pervaya League over the next four years . After he was initially only used sporadically for Yaroslavl's professional team in the Superliga , the defender prevailed at Lokomotiv in the 2005/06 season and provided a goal assist in a total of 28 games.

The 2006/07 season Megalinski spent at Chimik Voskressensk in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. He then received a contract with Vitjas Chekhov . For Vitjas he was first in the 2007/08 season in the Super League and from the 2008/09 season in the newly established Continental Hockey League on the ice. In June 2011 Megalinsky was signed by Metallurg Novokuznetsk , with whom he received a contract for two seasons.

From May 2013 Megalinski was under contract with HK Spartak Moscow before he was given to Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg in November of the same year in exchange for Filipp Tolusakow .

International

For Russia Megalinski took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2005 , where he and his team were runner-up world champions.
