Mehdi Hetemaj (born May 7, 1997 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Hetemaj began his career at SKN St. Pölten . In 2009 he played briefly at ASV Radlberg before returning to St. Pölten. In August 2014 he made his debut for the amateurs of SKN St. Pölten in the Regionalliga when he came on as a substitute for Mario Mosböck in the 90th minute of the third match day of the 2014/15 season against SC-ESV Parndorf 1919 .

In May 2015, he was against TSV Hartberg for the first time in the professional squad, but was not used. In May 2017 he scored his first goal for the SKN Juniors in the Regionalliga in a 2-1 defeat against Parndorf.

For the 2018/19 season, Hetemaj moved to the second division club SV Horn . He made his debut in the second division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against FC Liefering on the first day of that season and was replaced by Giovanni Kotchev in the 83rd minute . After the 2018/19 season he left Horn and moved to the regional division SC Wiener Neustadt , which was renamed 1. Wiener Neustädter SC in November 2019 .
