Mario Mosböck (born May 7, 1996 ) is an Austrian football and poker player .

Soccer

Mosböck began his career at SV Ratzersdorf . In 2006 he moved to SKN St. Pölten . In 2009 he came to AKA St. Pölten. In 2014 he returned to his youth club SKN St. Pölten. He made his professional debut in the second division on the 19th match day of the 2014/15 season against SV Horn . In 2016 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with SKN St. Pölten .

In August 2017 he moved to the second division club SC Wiener Neustadt . In January 2018 he left Wiener Neustadt again.

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the sixth class Union Hofstetten-Grünau .

Mosböck plays on the online poker platform PokerStars under the nickname livinmydream1 and on GGPoker as xxmmarioxx . Since 2015 he has participated in renowned live poker tournaments.

In October 2017, the Austrian made it into the money at the Monster Stack event of the World Series of Poker Europe at King's Resort in Rozvadov . At the main event of the Merit Poker Top Guns in Cyprus , Mosböck sat at the final table in early March 2018 and finished fourth for prize money of more than 90,000 US dollars . During the summer break of 2018 he played in Las Vegas and cashed in at the Millionaire Maker of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in June . A month later, he reached the sixth day of the tournament at the WSOP main event and finished there as the second best Austrian in 67th place, which brought him prize money of almost 110,000 US dollars. At the beginning of February 2019, Mosböck sat at the final table at an event of the Aussie Millions Poker Championship in Melbourne and took third place, endowed with almost 90,000 Australian dollars . At the end of April 2019, he finished third at the French National Championship , which was played as part of the European Poker Tour in Monte-Carlo , and received his highest prize money to date of almost 100,000 euros.
