Recoules-Prévinquières is a village and a former French commune with 503 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Rodez and the canton of Tarn et Causses .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Sévérac-le-Château , Buzeins , Lapanouse , Lavernhe , and Recoules-Prévinquières were merged into a nouvelle commune called Sévérac d'Aveyron and have the status of a commune déléguée in the new municipality inside. The administrative headquarters are in Sévérac-le-Château.

Neighboring places are Gaillac-d'Aveyron in the north-west, Buzeins in the north, Lapanouse in the north-east, Lavernhe in the south-east, Vézins-de-Lévézou in the south-west and Ségur (point of contact).
