Mehmet Ayaz (born January 10, 1982 in Yenişehir , Bursa ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Göztepe Izmir .

Career

Ayaz started with club football in the youth department of Bursa Yolspor and later played here as an amateur player in the regional amateur league. In 2004 he moved to the then third division club Bursa Merinosspor with a professional contract . Here he played sporadically in his first season and was mostly on the bench. In his second season he made his breakthrough with 11 goals this season. After two seasons at Merinosspor, he moved to Yalovaspor within the league . Here he stayed only one season and moved to the second division Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . At this club he quickly established himself as a top performer and played two seasons.

In the summer of 2009 he moved to the second division Orduspor . Here he rose in his second season with Orduspor as the play-off winner of the TFF 1st Lig in the Süper Lig .

Because the expired contract with Orduspor was not renewed in the summer of 2011, Ayaz separated from this club and moved to Istanbul's second division club Kartalspor . He separated from this club during the winter break and moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor within the league . After a year and a half, he left the club in spring 2013 and moved to league rivals TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor .

After half a season he left Linyitspor and instead signed on with the third division club Göztepe Izmir .
