The milestone in the east of Seeburg is in the street of friendship in Seeburg (municipality Seegebiet Mansfelder Land ) in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

A bell-shaped milestone was erected on the old route of the Prussian Chaussee Berlin - Kassel both east and south-west of Seeburg . The stone in the east stands in front of a garden and bears the inscription "1/2 mile". It is therefore a listed half-milestone, and as such it marks the distance to Dönhoffplatz in Berlin with 24.5 miles , which corresponds to 184.5 kilometers.

Since the stone was erected in 1826, it had sunk, and its condition had increasingly deteriorated due to flaking, so that it had to be renovated in 2001. Like all milestones between Halle (Saale) and Eisleben , it is on the south side of the street. In the monument register , the small monument has the registration number 094 16108 and in the ground monument register it has the registration number 428300539 as a ground monument .
