My Mecklenburg
Mein Mecklenburg ( ZDB -ID 2428465-8 ) is a periodical on the history, art and culture of Mecklenburg that was published until the end of 2016 . It is the successor of the monthly magazine Mecklenburg ( ZDB -ID 1094769-3 ), the 1979 to 2007 in Hamburg and Schwerin had appeared.

The first issue of Mein Mecklenburg appeared at the beginning of 2008 as a magazine of the Landsmannschaft Mecklenburg with the claim to offer "a mosaic of art and culture, nature and landscape, tradition and customs, past and present" of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The support group heimattreuer Mecklenburger e. V. described the paper as his "official organ" and financed it from membership fees and donations - as he had previously done for the Mecklenburg magazine, which was discontinued at the end of 2007 . Until the end of 2013 (issue 5), the magazine was published in the imprint as an “information sheet” by Landsmannschaft Mecklenburg, Stiftung Mecklenburg , Sozialwerk der Mecklenburger e. V., Mecklenburgische Kulturkreise and Heimatkreise as well as old school groups and the John Brinckman Gesellschaft e. V., Johannes Gillhoff Society e. V. and Mecklenburgica - Society for the Promotion of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania State Library e. V. shown. Since the beginning of 2014 (issue 1), the imprint has only contained the note that the sheet was founded by the Landsmannschaft and was published by them from 2008 to 2012.
An integral part of the sheet are a Low German part and a “North German slogan” with literary miniatures and found objects.
Editor and editor
Until its dissolution at the end of 2012 (Issue 4), the editor was the Landsmannschaft Mecklenburg , most recently in the person of its last federal chairman Erwin Kudsk in Ratzeburg. Since 2013 (issue 1) the paper has been published by the Mecklenburger Buchverlag GmbH in Neubrandenburg . The editing is done by the Schwerin journalist Rolf Seiffert - who had already edited the Mecklenburg magazine - and freelance authors such as Lutz Dettmann , Hans-Joachim Griephan , Wolfram Hennies , Wilfried Krempien , Dieter Niebuhr , Anne-Lore Pohl , Erich Rottenau , Albrecht Willebrand and other. Layout and set the responsibility since 2/2014 Jeanette Kruger (Mecklenburg book publisher). Since 2014 the regular length has been 56 pages.
Appear
The magazine appeared bimonthly until 2008. After an interruption in 2009, the magazine has been published quarterly since 2014. As the place of publication in 2008, the paper named Lübenheen in Mecklenburg, the then seat of the federal office of the Landsmannschaft. Ratzeburg was given from 2010 to 2012. The paper has been published in Neubrandenburg since 2013. With the issue 4/2016 the magazine stopped its publication in the Mecklenburg book publisher.
From 2008 to 2012 the sheet was published with 36 pages per issue. Since 2014, the regular volume has been 56 pages per issue. The circulation is 500 copies, the publication quarterly, so 4 magazines per year.
