Meinhard Füllner
Meinhard Füllner (born December 26, 1941 in Pałuki , Zichenau district , East Prussia ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
Life
Füllner completed training as a baker in his father's business and as a precision mechanic in the Drägerwerk Lübeck. After graduating from an evening grammar school , he studied at a university of education with a focus on psychology and geography and worked as a teacher at a primary and secondary school. In 1970 he was elected to the local council in Pogeez and was mayor of the municipality in the Duchy of Lauenburg from 1972 to 1988 . In 1975 he was first elected to the district council, to which he belonged until 1990. From 1986 to 1990 he was the first district councilor and, in this function, deputy district administrator .
From 1981 to 1999 Meinhard Füllner was chairman of the CDU district association of the Duchy of Lauenburg.
From 1987 to 2000 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament , where he was directly elected in 1987 in the constituency of Lauenburg-Ost and in 1996 in the constituency of Lauenburg-Nord . In 1988 and 1992 he entered the state parliament via the CDU state list . In the 12th , 13th and 14th electoral terms he was Parliamentary Managing Director of the CDU state parliamentary group. In 1994 he was a member of the Federal Assembly for the election of the Federal President. In 2003 he was re-elected to the district assembly of the Duchy of Lauenburg and has been the District President of the Duchy of Lauenburg ever since . After his membership in the state parliament, he was entrusted with various tasks in the lower and upper school supervision and also worked as a consultant for school development in the state.
Füllner is married and has two children. In the field of art and handicrafts, he uses a wide variety of techniques to create acrylic paintings and sculptures, especially made of steel.
