Melanie Gebhard
Melanie Gebhard (born July 16, 1980 in Albstadt ) is a German musical actress .
Life
After graduating from high school for nutritional science in Sigmaringen , she completed a year of training at the vocational college for technology and media and then began training as an advertising clerk with a focus on event organization. After graduating, she went to Hamburg and studied singing, dance and acting at the Stage School . During her apprenticeship, she participated in several galas and shows.
After graduating from the Stage School Hamburg with a “Diploma in Stage Actress in Singing, Drama and Dance”, she began her musical career with the musical “ Elisabeth - The Legend of a Saint ” in Eisenach .
Soon thereafter Melanie Gebhard was seen as Elphaba, the green witch, in the musical " WICKED - Die Hexen von Oz " and a number of roles in well-known and popular musicals such as Ghost , I've never been to New York , Sister Act followed , Mozart! , Titanic or My Fair Lady .
In addition to musical productions, Melanie can also be seen in TV commercials ( e.g. Salamander shoes) and as a soloist at galas, concerts and TV programs (e.g. SWR Sunday tour).
In 2016 she made her directorial debut with the Viennese dialect musical "UNSCHULDIG - Der Häfn rocks".
