Melanie circle
Melanie Kreis (born March 20, 1971 ) is a German manager . She has been a member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Post AG since 2014 and is responsible for finances . Kreis is the only female member of the Group's executive board.
education
After graduating in 1994 with a Masters in Physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook , USA, and a further degree in 1997 with a Diploma in Physics from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn , she did a Master of Business Administration in 2000 the private University of Insead .
Career
From 1997 to 2000 she worked for the management consultancy McKinsey & Company in Cologne . She then moved to Apax Partners , based in Munich and London . She has been with Deutsche Post DHL since 2004. She was appointed to the board in October 2014.
In 2017, Manager Magazin included Melanie Kreis in a list of “75 top women in German business”.
She is ranked 61st on Forbes' list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World .
Private
Kreis is divorced and has two children.
